CELESTION OPENS CHINA SALES OFFICE

Celestion already supply companies throughout China from our own substantial regional warehousing facilities. Now, to even better meet the demand for our drivers from Chinese pro audio companies, we have created to a dedicated sales office in Shenzen, China, headed up by OEM Sales Manager, Mr. Kevin Yeung.

The Shenzhen office will have two key roles. It will provide additional local support to Celestion’s many already established OEM partners in China, and create key initiatives to meet the demands of new customers from this important growth market.

From our own substantial regional warehousing facilities, Celestion already supplies companies throughout China who are manufacturing both for export and for domestic use. Thanks to this additional resource – the result of a forward thinking investment program – expect the Celestion brand to develop further its dominant and well-respected position in China. To underline this commitment, Celestion has introduced new product to meet specific performance requirements from Chinese customers.

“Celestion is already extremely well placed to supply International brands building product in China. We are now finding that there’s a growing number of domestic Chinese manufacturers who are demanding high quality drivers, enabling them to better compete within these marketplaces” explained General Manager, Nigel Wood.

“It was the natural next step to open a locally based sales office with an experienced multi-lingual sales professional like Kevin who is capable of servicing these accounts. Matching the differing demands of this market by creating new products was also an obvious commitment to make.”

Kevin is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, and graduated with a BBA degree from the University of Hawaii. Kevin’s most recent role prior to joining Celestion was with Hitachi cable, where he was responsible for negotiating contracts for their OEM business. He is extremely well qualified to take care of this important market for Celestion.
