As part of its strategy for continued growth, Celestion has embarked on a comprehensive, endorsee-led advertising campaign.
The Ipswich-based designer and manufacturer of guitar and pro audio loudspeakers has initiated a campaign of full page advertisements entitled: “Partners in Tone.” The ads feature well-established guitar heroes, Slash (Velvet Revolver, Guns ‘n’ Roses) and Brian May (Queen) as well as recent Favoured Nations signing and rising star Johnny Hiland. Each advert pictures one of these leading guitarists alongside their preferred Celestion guitar speaker and includes a quote from the artist describing why Celestion speakers are important to them.
More Partners in Tone will be announced later this year, featuring more leading guitarists and expanding still further the range of music styles represented.
The ads will be featured in leading US guitar publications, with presence in UK guitar magazines later in 2004.
